Welcome to Brian Llewellyn Golf

Thank you for visiting my website! I’ve been lucky enough to combine my passion for golf and the skills I’ve learned and share them with my students.

My goal is to take the folklore out of golf instruction and show my students the proven scientific techniques of a skilled player.

I studied under many great teachers and mentors, including Ted Sheftic, a Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher. Ted built the swing I have today. He is definitely one of the best and has been a huge influence on me both as a teacher and a mentor.

Under Sheftic’s instruction, I won the Match Play Championship at Huntsville and finished runner-up twice in the Club Championship. I’ve gone on to compete in many amateur events throughout Pennsylvania and the United States. From 2004-2006, I worked as the assistant pro at Fox Hill Country Club, and I worked winters at the PGA Golf Club in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

I am now a PGA certified golf pro and a TPI certified instructor, as well as a member of the Golf Coach Association. I’ve worked with Henry Brunton’s world class junior program studying the motor, emotional, and cognitive development of child players, so I’m fully equipped to teach young players and develop a Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) program with each student.

I’ve never lost the obsession. I want to learn everything I can about the golf swing and the game. I continue to study the biology and physics of the game from top biomechanists like Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher Mike Adams and sport psychologist Dr. Rick Jensen.

My passion for the game allows me to continue to learn and grow, and share proven, scientific information to child players, novice golfers, and the area’s top professionals.
